engage in genre analysis and multimodal composing to explore effective writing across disciplinary contexts and beyond
We did genre analysis several times throughout the semester; in our genre analysis assignments, we were given questions to answer and had to assess previous student samples. We’d respond to queries based on the format, content, and other details about the genre in question. When creating the document and PowerPoint regarding our PersonSeeker software, which aids in the location of individuals in natural catastrophes, we would need to include the knowledge obtained from these genre analysis assignments. This CLO also helped a lot because in doing these genre analysis we could see a bad example from a good one.
