CLO 7

practice using various library resources, online databases, and the Internet to locate sources appropriate to your writing projects

this CLO i feel like I’ve almost mastered because in college writing its extremely important to locate sources that back up you claims in your writing. Whether you’re trying to persuade or just inform you need sources to back up your claims in order to be seen credible. In every major assignment in this class we had to locate sources so i definitely feel that i improved throughout the semester as time went on. Also this is something that I do in most of my classes anyways so i had to extra practice with this. This CLO was achieved during our lab report assignment the most, when we were required to use the CCNY library database to locate sources of material for our report. The assignment also needed us to identify multiple sources and use them as guides in our made-up experiment, therefore we had to use data bases based on the relevant subject, which in this case meant science-based library data bases.

In the above image i have my references that i stated in my lab report to back up my claims.
